The newly created role of Marketing Manager will be responsible for all marketing, PR and marketing services both on and off line. This pivotal role will manage all written communication including regular press releases, and have the commercial responsibility to ensure all potential routes to market are exploited in a cost effective and deliverable manner and develop new business leads for the Director of Sales with innovative marketing campaigns.

Candidates will already have experience in the travel technology or related sector and have a demonstrable track record of developing campaigns that lead directly to revenue generation. Commercial acumen and a good understanding and experience of working with clients at senior level will be a distinct advantage. Candidates must be mobile and be prepared to travel internationally.

Marketing Manager

This is a full time position that reports to the owner and Solutions Manager. This position will help define what is success for customers with Honeycomb and assist them where necesssary. There will be some travel necessary, but you can be located anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities

This position will collaborate with clients to define their marketing objectives, develop a marketing plan using Honeycomb, execute campaigns and measure the results. Additionally, this person will be responsible for the development and delivery of email communications for our clients. The bulk of their time will be spent assisting clients in executing their marketing campaigns including lead nurturing and email delivery. For new clients you will help interview the customer to determine their needs. Then you will configure Honeycomb to meet those needs. You will train them and make the client's team proficient in their usage of Honeycomb.

On a weekly basis you will review the client's marketing performance in Honeycomb and collaborate with them on how to optimize their reach, lead nurturing or conversions. You will share these findings with 

Skills

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills including:

  • HTML - A functional knowledge as may be necessary to format text in editors
  • CRM - A working knowledge of the data stored and workflow automation
  • Email Delivery tools - A working knowledge of how to delivery emails to lists or reports
  • Google Analytics - A working knowledge of the data stored and tracking URLs
  • Excel - Competent skills in formatting data

Education

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Marketing. They may also have a liberal arts degree if they can show relevant experience in marketing and communications. The show also exhibit participation in industry forums and be prepared to share our experiences with industry.

Experience

The ideal candidate can demonstrate that they have worked with marketing solutions, email service providers, CRM and Google Analytics. They should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of the unique needs for Destinations, Attractions or Resorts.
